Some of the most fun music I've heard in a long time, Lake of Stew's Sweet
as Pie is full of the best kind of cotton-pickin' anthems, washtub bass,
kazoo solos and banjo this side of Deliverance—except it's fun, not
terrifying. It's also quite funny. With lyrics about buying Sadies records
and praying to Oprah, getting yelled at by the school-bus driver and even a
KRS One allusion in the middle of a tight bluegrass jam, Sweet as Pie is
chock full of good times.
Lake of Stew
