As soon as Audio Revolver opens with "On Switch" you feel like you are alone on a dark street. Agile Agilities' beats and pieces swirl like an evil mist encircling your ankles, while Nes One's deep, acid-tongued lyrics remind you of the world's shadows and society's shackles. Together, the brothers of Night of the Living Bassheadz remind us of the dangers of the single story, of trying to fit people into narrow perceptions. Samples of Noam Chomsky and Kevin Costner in JFK weave seamlessly with the overall narrative, and there are no wasted words. The effect is haunting.
